TYPES OF FINES/CHARGES
Online payment options are available. Borrowing privileges will be suspended once you incur charges in your library account. The privileges will be restored when outstanding charges are paid up.
- Loan & Overdue Fines
- Lost/Damage Penalty Charges
- Lockers & Study Rooms
- Document Supply Service Charges
Overdue fines will be applied for items returned after the due date.
Overdue fines are:
- RM0.20 per day for each book/magazine/CD-ROM with accompanying book
- RM1.00 per day for Academic Core Collection/Red Spot item
Borrowing privileges will be suspended if a member has outstanding charges in his or her account. The privileges will be restored when outstanding charges are paid in full.

Non-working days will not be counted in the calculation of total days of late returned. Users who have reached the maximum fine limit, and do not pay their fines, will not be allowed to make a subsequent borrowing or renewals of library materials.
