Gong Badak Campus Library provides spacious reading areas at every levels in the library which can accommodate around 1100 users at one time.
Self-check machine help users to save time without need queuing for borrowing process at the counter. They can do a borrowing process by themselves. The library provides 4 self-check machines at Gong Badak Campus Library only.
Book-drop system works for books delivery after library's operation hours.
In order to improve service and to cater with the growing number of users obtaining services from the library, we have equipped library of both campuses with self-check and book-return machine.

Registered library users can use discussion rooms in the library. Reservations can be made at the service counter. The minimum pax to use the room is 6 people, with 2 hours duration.

- Bookings for use by individual students will not be accepted

- Keys must be returned to the Circulation Counter within 5 minutes of expiration session.
- No food is permitted.
- Please keep noise to a reasonable level.
- Never leave valuables unattended.
- When you leave please turn off the lights and close the door, please lock the door as you leave.
- If you are not able to make use of your discussion room booking please cancel it.
- Do not leave books or other materials in the discussion rooms.
- Under all circumstances, chairs and tables must not be taken from the reading area or from one room to another.
- Users must clear the rooms at the end of the loan period, and must leave the rooms clean and tidy.
- The library provides 9 carrels. This facility is available for disabilities students, graduate students and academic staff.
- All students with disabilities are provided with a carrel until they have completed their studies.
- Postgraduate students and academic staff must make a reservation/registration at the counter for daily use of the room.
- The maximum period use for both categories of users is 1 day (based on library's operation hours).

This large, comfortable study area has tables, chairs, couches, and work areas for use by graduate students. Bank Rakyat Graduate Lounge affords graduate students a quiet area to study or to relax between classes.
Bank Rakyat Graduate Lounge is intended to be a quiet place for study and work. It is not a social gathering place. Anyone disturbing the study and work environment of the Quiet Study Lounge will be asked to leave.
Galeri Manuskrip mempamerkan sebahagian daripada manuskrip yang diperolehi dari Universiti Durham yang mana penceritaannya adalah berkaitan dengan sejarah Melayu. Antara yang menarik dipamerkan di galeri ini adalah surat dan manuskrip Governor General Malaya, Malcolm MacDonald yang bertugas di Asia Tenggara selama 7 tahun bermula dari tahun 1948 hingga 1955.
Program Sasterawan di Universiti merupakan suatu inisiatif yang dilakukan untuk memartabatkan kesusasteraan Melayu dalam kalangan warga Institusi Pendidikan Tinggi. Dalam hal ini, UniSZA adalah Universiti Awam (UA) pertama yang menubuhkan Galeri Sasterawan di Universiti.
Penubuhan Galeri Sasterawan Di Universiti: A. Samad Said pada 2019 ini adalah hasil sumbang saran idea dan usaha yang bersungguh-sungguh daripada pelbagai pihak yang berkolaborasi merealisasikan galeri ini.
Ini bagi mencapai objektif penubuhannya seperti berikut:
- Mendedahkan karya-karya agung para Sasterawan Negara kepada para pelajar dan warga UniSZA
- Memelihara dan mengekalkan identiti bangsa Melayu dan warisan kita supaya tidak lapuk dek zaman.
- Menjadikan UniSZA sebagai salah satu pusat rujukan kesusasteraan Melayu yang menjadi lambang keagungan Bahasa Melayu.
- Mampu memartabatkan bahasa Melayu dan Sasterawan Negara, Dato’ Seri A. Samad Said sebagai pakar rujuk dan seterusnya diangkat ke peringkat global.
Galeri ini menempatkan pelbagai karya yang dihasilkan oleh Sasterawan Negara, Dato’ Seri A. Samad Said. Koleksi yang dipamerkan terdiri daripada 46 buah buku, gambar (101), manuskrip (5), lukisan (3), helaian kertas tisu (3) dan keratan akhbar (50). Galeri ini juga mempamerkan sejarah beliau sepanjang bergelar seorang anak seni.
Sebagai kemuncaknya, Majlis Perasmian Galeri Sasterawan Di Universiti: A. Samad Said telah disempurnakan oleh Pro Canselor UniSZA, Tan Sri Dato' Dr. Mohamad Yusof bin Haji Mohamed Nor pada 11 April 2021.
A total of 56 computers at open computer lab are available for the convenience of users accessing the database, digital materials and surfing the Internet.

Two prayer rooms are located at ground floor. Can accommodate up to 6 users.
Locker facilities are available for storage bags and other files. All lockers are located at library main entrance. There are 2 types of lockers available.
- Unlocked lockers for baggage storage and other files.
- Storage locker for valuables.
Users can apply for the key at Circulation Counter and leave the student card as collateral, if the keys are lost. RM5 will be imposed for any lost keys. All users must submit the locker key before the library closes.
User can get connected to the campus network from anywhere within the library premises of both campuses through wireless network facility. Users are advised to register with Information Technology Center in order to get access password.
Photocopying and printing services are available at the library ground floor and managed by UniSZA Holding.
- Library Auditorium are for libraries and university activities.
- Auditorium is equipped with screening media materials can accommodate 120 users at one time.

This Graduate Lounge is intended to be a relatively quiet place for study and work, and also for relaxing. It contains a mix of large work tables with outlets, comfortable chairs, smaller table groups, and a longer counter workspace with barstool type chairs along a wall with power outlets.
The Graduate Lounge is open to all graduate students in good standing as an informal gathering space.
